Cantinho do Avillez

★★★★Portuguese · Contemporary · Business Class ($$$)See on the map ↗

Cantinho do Avillez brings José Avillez's signature style to Parque das Nações, offering a contemporary take on Portuguese cuisine with a few Brazilian and Asian influences woven into the menu. The food is consistently excellent, with dishes that are creative without trying too hard. Service is attentive and welcoming, although it can occasionally feel a bit disorganized when the restaurant gets busy. Prices are above the neighborhood average, but the quality more than justifies the premium. In an area where more refined dining options are surprisingly limited, Cantinho easily ranks among the best choices. The higher prices naturally keep large tourist groups away, so the dining room is mostly filled with local residents, expats, and executives from nearby offices. The wine list is well curated, with a solid selection that complements the menu without being overwhelming. If you're looking for one of the best meals in Parque das Nações, this is an easy recommendation. It's proof that a restaurant can be polished without feeling pretentious.
